Lizzie

Lizzie achieved her owner's dream of qualifying for and competing at HOYS in 2014. At 16 years old, she qualified for the Large Riding Horse class competing alongside all of the professionals.

Lizzie's owner bought her from a riding school as a 9yo. I first treated her at age 14. She was doing unaffiliated dressage and endurance. Her dressage test comments indicated lack of suppleness on Left rein, worse in canter. She found canter strike off on the left rein harder, and wasn't able to do medium trot. She was uneven through her hind quarters. Periodic Bowen treatment has helped Lizzie to be more supple and more symmetrical. She can now do medium trot well and can clearly impress the showing judges with how loose and free she looks in her movement.
